MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Major General Campbell Receives the VC (Western Desert). DESCRIPTION: At a special Parade in Cairo Major-General John Campbell was presented with his VC by General Auchinleck. SHOTLIST: General Auchinleck arrives on parade ground and presents Campbell with the VC ribbon. Both Generals inspect troops. March past. Auchinleck takes the salute with General Campbell in the background. Note: General Campbell also holds the MC, DSO and Bar.
