Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Prime Minister With the Troops. DESCRIPTION: Mr Churchill visits a group of Commandos in training. SHOTLIST: 1. PM arrives and inspects Guard of Honour. He then addresses part of a division and is given three cheers. 2. Men seen clearing mine-field and a further detachment of troops are inspected by PM, who is accompanied by the Turkish Ambassador whose name is Rauf Orbay and a Turkish Military Attache. Colonel R Erdelhun. 3. There is also a shot of the PM’s daughter. Corporal Mary Churchill who follows with officers. 4. Other shots include, the PM watching a gun demonstration and a CU of him on waggon addressing troops. 5. There is also a shot of Commando tactics, armed with daggers etc. 6. One of these weapons, the PM inspects. 7. There are CUs of men camouflaged and villagers waving. 8. Finally his departure.
