- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HM Submarine, "Thunderbolt" (Late Thetis). DESCRIPTION: The sinking of the submarine "Thetis" in June 1939 was a tragedy, but the ship was salvaged. Now repaired and renamed "Thunderbolt" the submarine is on active duty. SHOTLIST: 1. Shots of HM Thunderbolt, entering the basin and coming alongside. 2.
