- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Derby Opens ATC Camp. DESCRIPTION: Lord Derby, opening an ATC camp near Blackpool, was able to see first hand the co-operation between the youth of Britain and the Royal Air Force. SHOTLIST: 1. Lord Derby arrives at camp and is introduced to Wing Commander PW Bingham by Commodore EL Howard-Williams, MC, OC Commanding RAF Station, Blackpool. 2. Lord Derby with mayor inspects Guard of Honour. 3. Official opening of camp. 4. General view during ceremony. 5. Lord Derby leaves for tour of camp in car. 6. Shots of camp life (rations up), with ATC Cadets rushing out tents to collect same. 7. Training shots, showing Cadets having instruction with actual operational Lysander. 8. Another shot of Rations. 9. March past at Town Hall, the company including members of the Women’s Junior Air Corps, Navy League, Sea Cadets, etc.
