MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sir Alan Brooke Inspects US Troops in Northern Ireland With General Hartle. DESCRIPTION: The Chief of the Imperial General Staff has paid a visit to Northern Ireland where he saw American troops in training. SHOTLIST: 1. Long shot and close up of General Brooke arriving by plane. He is greeted by Lt General. HR Franklin and Major General Magendie. 2. Close up of General Hartle checking guns with General Brooke. 3. Long shot of General Brooke with a Lt examining American tanks, large and small. 4. General climbs into tank. 5. Close up of him getting down from tank. 6. CU of tank crew in helmets saluting. 7. CU of General Brooke and Franklin examining map. 8.
