MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Acting Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Frederick Edward Collins A157/16. DESCRIPTION: Recent visitors to Gibraltar have been General Anders, commanding the Polish forces in Russia and General Valin commanding the Free French Air Force. SHOTLIST: 1. Various shots of the above Admiral in the garden of Government House with various staff officers. 2. Shot of HE and Major General Sir Colin Jardine in the gun-pit. CU. 3. Shot of look-out giving alarm. 4. Gun-crew running to action stations. Gun in action. 5. CU of HE and Major General. 6. Various shots of HE watching the Bofors crew changing barrels. 7. Two shots of HE looking at Rockgun, looking over Spain and inspecting a searchlight. 8. Two shots of HE looking at predictor and watching the 3" gun crew in action. 9. Mid shots of him leaving Rock-gun through gate in barbed wire. Visit of Foreign General to Gibraltar 170ft 1. A series of shots of visitors being shown Rock-gun by Major General Sir Colin Jardine (in shorts, shirt). 2. Shots of the visitors being shown tunnel system at south end of the Rock.
