Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wedding of the Rev. David Herbert Booth RNVR and 3rd Officer Diana Mary Chard, WRNS. DESCRIPTION: At Alexandria Wren Third Officer Diana Chard married the Reverend David Booth, RNVR. SHOTLIST: Ceremony takes place at St Marks Church, Alexandria. The Company includes many of the Brides fellow officers who are attired in white uniforms. Shots of WRNS, ratings, troops, etc. and guests arriving. The couple leave the Church and pass through a Guard of Honour made up of Naval Officers, WRNS etc. The Bride is given away by Admiral Sir Henry Priddum-Wippel. After the ceremony the couple’s car is drawn along the roads to the reception hall by WRNS in white and sailors.
