MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke & Duchess of Gloucester at Civil Defence Parade - Glasgow. SHOTLIST: Duke & Duchess of Gloucester accompanied by the Rt. Hon. Thomas Johnston, leaving City Chambers. Pan down from top of building to entrance where above are leaving. Also seen on the stand are bailiffs & magistrates in their magisterial robes. Soldiers in busbys - hussars) lead procession followed by police. Shot of Duke of Glos. saluting; SV of stand also to be seen is Sir Steven Bilsland (Reg. Commissioner for CD). CU Johnson on right of Duke with Duchess on left, pan left to Duke saluting. GS of crowds. More of the procession. Duke & Duchess etc. leaving stand. LS Cenotaph. LS Parade. Ls Flag on City Chambers. Glasgow Police Pipe Band played the march past.
