Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: More Bombs Outward Bound (Raid on Denain, Nr. Valenciennes). DESCRIPTION: Another raid over Northern France has been carried out by Bostons. This time the target was the Steel and Engineering Works at Denain, near Valenciennes. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Aerial shots of Bostons (many) flying over the Channel, shot from plane, approaching French coast, over French countryside, trees, houses etc & at treetop height. Pass over a river. LS of target (Steel & Engineering Works). Shot of smoke rising from target, also very dense smoke, pan of burning target, various shots (very good). LS of smoking factory. Shot of the shadow of a Boston passing over the countryside. LS of Factory burning again. Finishes on shadow of Boston homeward bound.
