MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tito’s Yugoslavia. DESCRIPTION: The village of Dravar, Bosnia has changed hands between the Germans and Yugoslav Partisans no less than six times. Marshal Tito’s headquarters are hidden away near to Dravar. Here we see the first pictures of the Marshal, with him are two captured war correspondents, Stoyan Pribichevich and John Talbot. SHOTLIST: Cut story - GV village of Dravar. Oxon drawn transport through village. In fields, ploughing in progress, drawn by oxen. CU types of Yugoslavs. Yugo women spins wool by hand. Elevated shot of Dravar, bombed houses, also cellulose factory wrecked. Pan of factory. GS of damaged marshalling yards and rolling stock, locos, etc. Partisan meet in roadway, GS and CU of Stana Tomashevitch (she is their leader). Partisans march off, hands in pockets. GV of Tito’s HQ in picturesque surroundings. Natural camouflage. Partisan climbs over hill bringing meals to HQ. Tito walks out of HQ onto verandah with John Talbot and S Pribichevich (American). GS of group. Various close-ups of Tito.
