Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Chinese Take Tengcheng. DESCRIPTION: For five weeks the Chinese battled against the Japanese garrison in the walled city of Tengcheng on the Burma Road. Eventually they scaled the walls and after heavy fighting secured the city. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Chinese artillerymen fire gun out of camera. GV of valley & trail of fire. Chinese troops advance firing rifles, & mortars, infantry charge over walls of town. Wounded attended by medics. Various explosions & streets fighting. Various shots of dead Japs. Chinaman takes Chinese flag from Jap’s pocket (dead).
