- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Nuremberg Highlights. DESCRIPTION: Austrian General Lahausen has appeared for the prosecution at the War Trials. Another of the highlights was the question of the sanity of Hess, who stated that he had only pretended to lose his memory for tactical reasons. SHOTLIST: KS GV court and judges entering, sitting down. SCU & CU of Goering doubled up laughing. Hess and Ribbentrop laughing. Prosecution leads General Lahausen (Austrian) into witness box, Lahausen takes the oath, repeating prosecutor. CU Lahausen with hand held in the air, taking the oath. MS Hess seated in dock by himself. SV Judges Bench, Lord Justice Lawrence, speaks about Hess, Hess confirms his sanity (in German). Back view of Sir Hartley Shawcross (British), the prosecutor, opening the British case, says "you do not fight wars for what the universe think is right, but for victory etc.".
