MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Waterloo Bridge Officially Opened. DESCRIPTION: The new Waterloo Bridge across the Thames is officially opened by Mr Herbert Morrison. SHOTLIST: KS GV from riverside of new Waterloo Bridge. MS Mr Morrison with Mrs Morrison standing next to him, also Lord Latham. Morrison makes short speech, officially opening bridge, "Pride of London etc.". Small crowd applaud. Morrison walks over to tape which he cuts with scissors. The above group then walk across the bridge. Finish on GV of bridge.
