MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: RAF Lancasters Over New York. DESCRIPTION: Royal Air Force Lancasters fly in formation or New York, they are on a goodwill visit to America. SHOTLIST: KS Aerial of formation over New York. Several aerial shots of formations of Lancasters flying over skyscrapers etc. Formation fly over camera. Interior of cockpit, pilot at controls CU. CU letting wheel down & CU wheel touching down on airport. GV-SV of Lancaster landing on aerodrome. Line of Lancasters, crews march in front of planes. GV planes (line of) with crews standing in front of same. Group shot - Group Captain RCM Collard, Wing Commander AJL Craig, both of RAF and Lieutenant General GE Stratemeyer and Colonel LR Parker of USAAF. CU pan of group.
