- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: 2nd Test Match - Drawn Match. DESCRIPTION: Rain prevented the start of play at Manchester in the Second Test between England and India. England batting first were all out for 294 but India fared no better their first innings total being 170. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS crowds wait in rain. Various crowd shots waiting for rain to stop. LS covers over wickets. Wally Hammond (lounge suit) & Nawab of Pataudi go out to inspect wickets. Toss up - India wins and puts England in to bat. LS elevated of England batting.
