MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Test Team at Lord’s and Departure. DESCRIPTION: The MCC team depart for Australia, leaving Southampton aboard the Stirling Castle. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Group of selected team for Australia. Ditto with them is Major Howard the team’s manager. SS Stirling Castle lies alongside quay. Team walks through docks. Embarking aboard ship. Luggage being slung aboard. Team stand on deck with captain of the ship. GVs of the Stirling Castle, letting go the ropes. GV ship as she pulls away from Southampton dock.
