MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Squatters Move in at Kensington. DESCRIPTION: Victims of the housing shortage have taken over the Duchess of Bedford Mansions in Kensington. Terry Cotter of Movietone talks to Communist Party official, Mr Coleman, on how they organised the squat. SHOTLIST: KS GV Duchess of Bedford’s Mansions flats. Squatters unload lorry loads of private belongings, bedsteads, matting etc. Interior - family seated at table drinking tea. Exterior - crates of milk stacked outside flats, milkman places another on same. Group of squatters outside flat being interviewed by Terry Cotter. Interviews Communist Party member Mr Coleman. SCU interviewing one of the mothers.
