MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Berlin Prepares for Winter. DESCRIPTION: Food is the biggest problem in Berlin as winter approaches. The Allies are bringing in supplies from many countries and the British Army is distributing delicacies among the children. SHOTLIST: KS Sacks of food being lifted by crane. Cases and sacks being wheeled from warehouses. Train load of meat, doors being opened. Carcasses of meat being unloaded from same and loaded onto lorries. Vegetables (cabbages) being unloaded from trains and loaded onto lorries. Red Cross poster. Sacks of edibles being taken from warehouses on trolleys. Cases of condensed milk being taken from warehouses on trolleys. American label displaying Stars and Stripes. Cases packages of British Army supplies being opened and contents being put on conveyor belt. Various shots of Nissen huts nearing completion.
