- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Centenarians of Australia and America. DESCRIPTION: Mr James Sullivan of Australia and Mr Nathaniel Vickers of America have both reached their hundredth birthdays. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS James Sullivan of Richmond, New South Wales mowing his lawn. Ditto. CU Sullivan speaking about girls of today, finishing by saying God help Australia. In New York (Forest Hills) MS of Nathaniel Vickers (100 years old) playing golf, driving and putting. SCU & CU Vickers interview, says Everybody tells me I’m like GB Shaw well I can’t be, he’s much younger than me, he’s only 90. Cut-ins shots of George Bernard Shaw. He also collapses three times a week, well you can understand that, he has no meat, he’s a vegetarian. Mr Vickers laughs to finish.
