- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Indian Crisis - London Conference. DESCRIPTION: The Viceroy and delegates from various Indian factions arrive at Heathrow for a Conference on India. SHOTLIST: KS Indian political parties walk onto aerodrome carrying banners, flags, etc. York plane comes to rest on aerodrome, Wavell in civilian clothes alights first. Followed by Jinnah, Pethick-Lawrence, Nehru etc. Crowds round plane, shouting slogans etc. Posed shot of delegation surrounded by crowds. MS Jinnah, next to him are Lord Pethick-Lawrence and Pandit Nehru. MS Jinnah speaking pleased to see England in sunshine and I can’t tell you anything about the mission.
