Interior - shots of delegates seated. Churchill takes his seat on platform, also Mrs Churchill, Anthony Eden, Harold Macmillan, Lord Woolton and several other Conservative VIPs. Macmillan announces Churchill. MS, SCU & CU of Churchill during his address, cut-ins of audience applauding and listening. CU Eden and Mrs Churchill listening to speech. Churchill refers to Sir Stafford Cripps, also speaks of the Government meddling etc. Complete speech herewith. Audience at end of his speech stand and applaud him.
