- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Memory of Guy Fawkes Is Evergreen. DESCRIPTION: The Fifth of November is celebrated in the Sussex towns of Battle and Lewes. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV Battle Abbey. Several shots of building of bonfire in front of Abbey. Night procession through streets. Mrs Harbord lights the bonfire. Several shots of fire burning, silhouetting Battle Abbey in the background. At Lewes - several shots - effigy of Lord Chichester being burnt. Shots of a spiv also being burnt, fireworks go off in every direction. Set piece wine glass ‘Wishing Princess Elizabeth and Lt Philip Mountbatten happiness’. Various shots of the Guy going up in smoke and fireworks.
