- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Grimsby Fishermen Greet the Duke. DESCRIPTION: The Duke of Edinburgh paid a visit to Grimsby to see for himself the procedure of the fishing industry. He also inspected the latest thing in trawlers, the Rinovia which is being sent to the Arctic Sea. SHOTLIST: KS. GV fishing trawlers alongside quay, in background. MS Ditto - very good shots. Duke inspects naval cadets on quay. Duke talks (silent) to fishermen leaning over side of trawler. Through large crowds he boards trawler "Rinovia" several shots aboard, & disembarking. CU name on bows "Rinovia". Walks through fishing factory watching processes. Gutting, curing etc. Kippers hanging, packing haddocks. Talks to one of the fisher girls who goes all coy. Freezing cherries.
