Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: No Snow for Skiing Champions. DESCRIPTION: Owing to the very mild weather snow had to be carried to the Olympic Ski Course at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Many first class skiers took part in the International Contest. SHOTLIST: KS. Elevated tilt up of stadium. No snow laying, so same is carried up the skiing slope & laid for international professionals. Various shots of same. Various shots of jumpers performing all landing perfectly, some falling after landing. From judges’ tower at top of run, GV of countryside.
