DESCRIPTION: At the first meeting of the United Nations Security Council to be held in 1950, Mr Malik (Russia) protests against Dr Tsiang (Nationalist China’s delegate) being President of the Council and after being defeated on a vote Mr Malik walked out. SHOTLIST: KS. GV delegates sitting. Dr Tsiang presides over meeting. Mr Malik (USSR) protests. Cut-in of delegates. Dr Tsiang announces voting decision. Malik rises with his staff & walks out.
