Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen Mary’s Carpet. DESCRIPTION: Due shortly to be exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the carpet, which Queen Mary has been working on for many years, was photographed at a preview in Burlington House. SHOTLIST: KS. MS interior of hall. Several shots of carpet, full length & CU of various parts of the pattern. MS honoured guests seated in front with carpet displayed at back - hung on wall. Lady Reading addresses: "the carpet is to help in the dollar gap" or words to that affect. Cut-in GV with Lady Cynthia Colville among the guests.
