MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Home Fleet Leaves for Spring Cruise. DESCRIPTION: HMS Implacable, 23,000 ton aircraft carrier and the flagship of Admiral Sir Philip Vian, was one of the ships of the Home Fleet which has assembled at Portland in preparation for their spring cruise. SHOTLIST: KS. Silhouette of "Vanguard" at anchor with sun in background. GV - elevated shot of bay showing large amount of fleet in same - good shot. MS destroyers lying at anchor.
