DESCRIPTION: Hendon Garage was one of the centres of trouble leading to London’s bus strike, which is apparently due partly to a demand for more pay and partly to the increased employment of clippies. SHOTLIST: Bus Garage. Pickets outside police talk with them. CU war memorial outside Hendon Garage. Buses at standstill in side garage. Entrance boarded up with pickets outside. CU notice or pamphlet of the LTGWU. Queues of people at the bus-stops. Buses parked in garage park.
