- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Us Mighty Bombers Leave for Home. DESCRIPTION: Lakenheath Air Station, Suffolk, was the scene of the departure of the six American B-36D Bombers. Their non-stop flight to Texas took just over thirty six hours. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU 2 propellers turning. Trucking shot - passing B36, gives idea of size. GV wing span. CU engines. Crew lined up - briefed. Crew climbs aboard plane. Cut-in CUs of types. MS planes taxi & take off one after the other. Planes pass camera & take off. B36 just after take off flies out of camera. B36 over camera.
