- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Foreign Secretary Seeks Recreation at Festival Gardens. DESCRIPTION: Mr Eric Drake, General Manager, was present at the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company’s London office to give first-hand information of the situation in Persia. Mr Drake also attended a Cabinet meeting at No 10 Downing Street. After the meeting, Mr Morrison went by launch to the Festival Gardens and proceeded on a two and a half hour tour. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Morrison walk the gardens. Exterior - GV Anglo-Iranian Oil Co., Finsbury Circus. CU nameplate. Mr Basil Jackson enters building. Mr Eric Drake, out of car & enters. SCU Drake. Crowds in Downing Street. SCU door of No 10 Ministers leaving, as well as Service Chiefs. Morrison aboard motor launch, pulls in alongside Battersea Festival Gardens. Girls curtsy & present oranges to Morrison. Various shots of Morrison & his wife walking through the gardens, Morrison throwing orange into air several times & catching same. Walk into cafe. Accompanied by Mr Gerald Barry.
