DESCRIPTION: Charles Elleano, 40-year-old French wire-walker, crossed the Thames on a wire - a distance of over a thousand feet in twenty-five minutes. His trip from the Embankment to the South Bank was watched by thousands of Festival visitors. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. SCU Elleano crossing on wire. Charles Elleano scales up pole. Starting off from platform. Walks out of camera along wire. Shot half way across of him with Parliament in background. Crowds at South Bank Festival site watch. Elleano finishing his walk, slips slightly. Waves to crowds. SCU of him being given a drink.
