Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Munich Festival. DESCRIPTION: Munich has also been enjoying a Festival - a traditional October event to mark the harvest. The accent is on beer, but they have an amusement park which compares quite well with our Battersea Fun-Fair. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. SCU person in procession waving banner. GV of procession. Passing camera, lorry loaded with barrels of lager. Crowds round barrels. Broaching barrel, drinking lager, or beer. GV amusement park, various entertainments, including the Rotor. Cutting up large carcasses of meat, man eating whole chicken. Women & men enjoying themselves, drinking etc.
