Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen Inspects the Scouts. DESCRIPTION: On the Sunday nearest St George’s Day, Scouts paraded at Windsor Castle and the Queen inspected representatives of Commonwealth and foreign countries. The Duke of Edinburgh also spoke with many of those on parade, as did Princess Margaret. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Scouts marchpast - into camera. GV parade. Queen Elizabeth walks onto parade ground. Inspecting scouts. Duke of Edinburgh in civilian clothes also inspects, & Princess Margaret also inspects. Queen talks (silent) to several disabled scouts. People taking still photographs. Various shots of scouts marching past. Queen with Lord Rowallan takes salute.
