MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jersey Flower Battle. DESCRIPTION: The sea-front at St Helier presented a very gay and summery appearance for this year’s Battle of Flowers fete. First prize went to the Space-Ship. Stage and screen star Yolande Donlan was there lending added charm to the scene. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV parade. Various shots of the seafront at St Helier, crowded with people, flowers floats all kind passing along, throwing flowers at one another. GV St Helier during flower battle.
