MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Olympic Swimmers. DESCRIPTION: The Olympic swimming-pool has now come into the news, spectators included the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke of Kent, also present was Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands. The women’s hundred metres was won by Miss Szoke with Britain’s Miss Angela Barnwell eighth. Miss Szoke’s time was one minute six point eight. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Olympic sign. Elevated GV swimming pool. Various shots of the swimming including mens free style & women’s. CU winner. Cut-ins crowds.
