- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sherlock Holmes Lives Again. DESCRIPTION: Recently, Sherlock Holmes reappeared (cleverly disguised as actor Carleton Hobbs) to witness the unveiling of a plaque by Ex-Detective-Superintendent Fabian. The plaque, on a Piccadilly Bar, marked the fact that the Holmes-Watson partnership originated there. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Holmes stands on Handsome. Library material - Very old material (1900) of handsome cabs and traffic pass through London mostly horse drawn. (Henderson material). Mix to Holmes steps into Handsome cab, drives. Alights in Piccadilly. Interior restaurant with magnifying glass examines various footsteps on floor. Ex-superintendent Fabian of Scotland Yard unveils plaque to memory of Holmes. Holmes looks at same through magnifying glass.
