DESCRIPTION: Arriving at New York aboard the Queen Mary, Mr Churchill soon came along to make a statement for newsreels and Press, who were there in full force. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. SCU ‘Queen Mary’ (stern end). Aboard QM press and newsreel men waiting for Churchill to come into saloon. Churchill enters with wife and daughters Sarah and Mary also Mr Baruch. Churchill makes short speech. Churchills car leaving New York drives past people displaying anti-Churchill posters. Good scenes - Cameramen and photographers. Standing behind Churchill is Christopher Soames, his son-in-law.
