Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Liner Rammed - Waterman (Hungarian Refugees for Canada). DESCRIPTION: The Dutch liner Waterman put in at Brest, after having a great gash ripped in her stern by collision with an Italian cargo ship. The liner was taking over 300 Hungarian refugees to Canada, they were to be transferred to another Dutchman to continue their voyage. SHOTLIST: GV showing hole in stern. CUs hole in stern. Passengers looking over side of ship. Hungarian flag flying from stern. CU hole showing interior of cabin.
