- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jet Crash. DESCRIPTION: Canada’s Air Force Day, at London, Ontario; and a CF100 Jet Fighter about to play its part in the show, when something went wrong. The ejector seat worked and the pilot was clear, but the parachute failed to open. The jet fighter crashed behind a hangar. No-one in the crowd was hurt. SHOTLIST: CF100 Jet Fighter taxiing. Takes off. Crowd. Plane spinning out of control. Crashes. Smoke rising. Firefighters fighting the fire from the plane.
