- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: ‘Miss World’ Contest. DESCRIPTION: Marita Lindahl from Finland was the winner of the Miss World contest, held in London. She received the crown and sceptre and won five hundred pounds, a rosebowl and a sports car. Runners-ups were from Denmark and South Africa. SHOTLIST: LS girls pose on revolving stand.
