Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Mascot for Welsh Regiment. DESCRIPTION: Gwili the Goat, joined up as mascot of the 6th Battalion, the Welsh Regiment TA. His family have performed this duty since Queen Victoria’s time. SHOTLIST: GV of scene with cameraman etc. CU goat’s head. Shots of troops trying to put coat on the goat (Gwili). Shots of goat bucking and jumping, troops trying to keep him still. 5 soldiers trying to put goat in army lorry. CU goat’s head in truck.
