Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Naples Explosion. DESCRIPTION: In the port of Naples a two thousand ton Italian cargo ship was taking on fuel for her voyage to Catania, when an explosion in her boiler-room wrecked her and spread damage far and wide. At least ten people are known to have lost their lives, and many more were injured. SHOTLIST: Good view of the wrecked ship ‘Anna Maria Ievoli’ partly sunk in the port of Naples. GS damaged dockyard.
