MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Canaveral Missile. DESCRIPTION: A long-range, subsonic, turbo-jet, pilotless plane - the Snark (one of America’s Intercontinental Missiles) - underwent a test flight from Cape Canaveral in Florida, to a target 5,000 miles out in the Atlantic. SHOTLIST: Various shots of control room & control panel. Shot of man working. Shots of rocket being launched and in flight. Shots of the boosters falling away, and falling back to earth, then burst into flames. GS rocket (the Snark) in flight.
