Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Armoured Car Story. DESCRIPTION: No bodyguard can guarantee the safety of the payroll on those fearful Friday journeys to the Bank. But the recently formed Armoured Car Company does guarantee to outwit the wage-grabbers. It is now possible to hire the services of these armoured couriers, who will shoulder the responsibility involved in such a tricky assignment. SHOTLIST: GS pay clerk leaving with escort to go to bank. Shots of specially built ‘armoured car’. Shots of the money carried out to car in a case manacled to the security guard’s wrist. Various shots of inside of car. Shot of car arriving at its destination and money being counted in the office.
