MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jersey - Battle of Flowers. DESCRIPTION: The annual Battle of Flowers in Jersey was opened by this year’s Queen, Miss Peggy Poole, and James Robertson Justice, the film star. The procession was a fantastic fiesta of floral fragrance and feminine fascination. And then, the Battle of Jersey began, with a burst of blossoms and a fusillade of flowers.
