- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Badminton Horse Trials. DESCRIPTION: The first day of the Horse Trials was nearly ruined by the weather: it rained and it rained. The Queen who stayed at the Duke of Beaufort’s home at Badminton, was well wrapped up and watched every event with the greatest interest. The jumping, for instance, went well, in spite of the difficult conditions. SHOTLIST: LS Badminton House - people in f/g. BS people with umbrellas. Closer - same. MS people look on.
