Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: City of the Future. DESCRIPTION: This is the model of a new town, as it might by. Planned for some thirty thousand people, they call it Motopia, a sort of Utopia for motorists. They’d use roads running on the tops of buildings. Pedestrians would walk to well-planned shopping centres, or go by waterbus. There’s a river running through Motopia, which (say the architects) might by built at Staines, near London. SHOTLIST: TS model of ‘Motopia’. TS same. CU junction. TS model.
