- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Dog’s Day. DESCRIPTION: The care and attention these dogs get! After beautifying treatment, they’re given new outfits in the very latest fashion, and there are special styles to suit all customers. Yes, how the rich live!. Now to a place, where a dog’s day is a different matter. The famous Dog’s Home at Battersea has been looking after lost dogs for a hundred years. Many are refugees from homes they’ve been kicked out of, or they are owner-less or unwanted. Battersea gives them a temporary home, feeds them and is kind to them.
