MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bluebird Crash. DESCRIPTION: The news of Donald Campbell’s crash aroused profound sympathy from all who admired him. Our pictures show him with his million pound car Bluebird taken in Britain before he left for Utah. SHOTLIST: Shots of Bluebird II driven by Donald Campbell on Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats. GV of Bluebird II on a roaring run of 300mph - skids on its side for half a mile - cracks up. We did not get the actual crash.
