- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Army Aids Traffic. DESCRIPTION: Like so many places in Britain, Bath has a traffic problem. In this case, it’s partly due to flood damage to the old bridge across the Avon, which has had to be reinforced. The Army has now come to the rescue, by building a temporary bridge, while more work on the old one goes on and traffic in the city is replanned. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV shopping centre in Bath.
